| Jean-Michel Malek is CAMAC International’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel. He joined the company in 1992 and is responsible for all aspects of CAMAC's legal affairs around the world. In addition to private practice with law firms in Houston, Mr. Malek has also held various positions as in-house counsel with multi-national companies, including that of General Counsel for Community Health Computing, a provider of turnkey information systems to hospitals throughout the United States and Europe. He has also been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston Law Center, where he taught a course on law and development in Africa. Mr. Malek graduated, with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in 1980 and has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, with highest honors, from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently serves as Honorary Consul of Namibia for the State of Texas.
